Ed Edmister, CAMS, LPEC

Chief Compliance Officer, InComm Payments

Ed is Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of the Company, leveraging over twenty years of anti-financial crime and anti-money laundering expertise. Mr. Edmister has served in this capacity since June 2023 and has been with the Company since 2014. In his role as Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of the Company, he is responsible for day-to-day compliance operations, including overseeing all money transmitter licenses. He is considered an industry expert in risk management, compliance, and financial crime investigations. He has spoken at industry events and participates in annual ACAMS, ACFE, MTRA, PRMIA, and NMLS conferences. Mr. Edmister is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS), Atlanta Chapter. He is a graduate of the Servicemembers Opportunity College, US Navy (SOCNAV) where he graduated with honors. He is also a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program, Oxford University, Saïd Business School.

He previously served on the Scientific Evidence Committee at the ABA, as a Forensic Expert Witness, and was noted for his professional acumen in landmark cases involving Scientific Misconduct, BP Oil Spill, Liberty Reserve Money Laundering Case (Costa Rica) and Paramount Studios – Loss Mitigation.

Ed is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and serves as a Board Member (Chair) for the Atlanta ACAMS Chapter.

Brandi Steinberg, CPA, CFE

Forensic Manager, IAG Forensics and Valuation

Brandi joined IAG Forensics and Valuation, LLC in 2016 and now serves as a Forensic Manager in the family law practice.  She assists family law attorneys and their clients with divorce or probate court matters.   Her prior experience is comprised of both public and private practice, having spent several years in public accounting and serving as a controller for an automotive group.  She possesses extensive experience in financial reporting; auditing of local governments, non-profit entities, and private companies; taxation of individuals and businesses; addressing complex accounting issues; evaluating and designing internal controls; and performing corporate investigations. 


Brandi is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner.  She is a member of the AICPA, GSCPA, ACFE, and GACFE.  Brandi currently serves as President of the Georgia Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.  Brandi is a Double Eagle of Georgia Southern University where she received both her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and her Master of Accounting.

David Voorhees, CFE, CAMS

David Voorhees has extensive experience spanning 15 years in law enforcement, public accounting and corporate environments.  His experience includes a wide range of forensic accounting and fraud investigation engagements including asset tracing, embezzlement, forensic data analytics, dispute and litigation support, and fraud risk management.  He has conducted numerous investigations into employee misconduct, conflicts of interest, kickbacks, and information technology incidents resulting in financial losses.  David’s background also includes over five years of consumer and commercial identity fraud, loan fraud, and customer due diligence investigations.


David holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting and a Masters of Science in Accounting from the University of Kansas.  He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.  David serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners as Secretary and on the Southeastern Chapter of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators as the Treasurer.

Philip Mungia, CFE

Fraud Monitoring & Investigations Leader, Equifax

Philip Munguia has 14 years with Equifax working on the Fraud and Investigations Team.  Philip leads a team based in Costa Rica that reviews a variety of US, Canada and LATAM fraud alerts to detect criminal and/or regulatory misuse of Equifax data and Equifax data furnisher services.  Prior to Equifax, Philip worked for JP Morgan Chase Card Services division as well as Ford Credit in a variety of roles including Internal Audit, Wholesale Floorplan Audit, Fraud Investigations, Collections and Chargeback/Representment Management.

Jared Garfield

SVP Risk, Underwriting, Chargebacks & Compliance, MerchantE

Jared began his career in merchant processing as a Risk Investigator for NOVA Information Systems (now Elavon). With over 26 years of experience spanning small ISOs, Payment Facilitators, and major processors like Global Payments and Worldpay, he specializes in fraud strategy and risk mitigation in the merchant payments space. Jared is also a 20+ year active member of the Association of Payment Professionals (formerly MAC).

Sharon Granger, MBA, CFE

Sr. Vertical Solutions Consultant, LexisNexis Risk Solutions

With 30+ years of experience in the data services industry, Sharon Granger brings subject matter expertise in business-to-business transactions specifically tailored around verification and credit risk. As a Senior Solutions Consultant with Lexis Nexis since, 2016, she currently works with some of the largest institutions in the U.S. assisting them in the formation of best practices and workflows as it relates to new client onboarding, fraud identification, risk and portfolio management. Her qualifications include accreditations as an ACFE Certified Fraud Examine (CFE) and an ABA Certified Lender Business Banker. Sharon holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. 

Aaron Frye

Founder, Lucid Point Consulting

Prior to launching Lucid Point Consulting (LPC), a risk advisory firm that specializes in fraud & identity risk, payments risk, and vendor management initiatives, Aaron worked directly in multiple fraud & payments risk functions for GE Capital, SunTrust Bank (now Truist Bank), BBVA USA, PNC Bank, and Swivel, a payment processor. He started the risk advisory firm with one goal – enhance their client’s organizations by applying practical industry experience to reduce risk exposure and losses. LPC also offers Sales Consulting services tailored for the fraud & identity risk solution providers.

Supervisory Special Agent, Homeland Security Investigations

Ruben is a Supervisory Special Agent with Homeland Security Investigations and has been with the agency for over 14 years.  He is currently a member of the Non-Narcotics Financial Investigations Group and Asset Identification and the Removal Group.  Prior to HSI, Ruben served as Postal Inspector for over 9 years with the USPIS.

Georgia Lead Outreach Specialist, Senior Medicare Patrol

 Nathan Coflin is a graduate of Old Dominion University and has been a fierce advocate for older adults and other vulnerable populations for over ten years. Currently, Nathan serves as Lead Outreach Specialist for the federally funded Senior Medicare Patrol program in the state of Georgia, where he and his team seek to empower Medicare beneficiaries fight the over $60 billion in Medicare fraud, waste, and abuse that occurs nationwide each year.

Brian St. John leads the Global Fraud & Authentication Consulting Practice for Pindrop as Senior Director.  Brian’s team of Consultants find approaches and blaze new paths to achieve maximum benefit of Pindrop’s products and services solutions.  Brian’s career has spanned many leadership roles at both Bank of America and American Express.  His experience includes credit card, deposit, retail, online and call center environments regarding anti-fraud and authentication best practices.  Starting in 2017, Brian brought all of that experience to bear at Pindrop and is helping each of Pindrop’s clients counter fraud and remove friction from the call center experience.


Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a MBA, both from Northern Arizona University.  Brian proudly supports the ACFE community and holds Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential.  His passions include mentoring new industry professionals, building a sustainable and diverse Consultant culture for Pindrop, exploring new tools that may aid in stopping fraud, and running Dungeon & Dragon campaigns.
